Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Wichita, NAI Martens provides a vast array of commercial real estate services throughout Kansas. NAI Martens is led by CEO Steve Martens, CCIM, CPM, SIOR and President Tom Johnson, CRE – two industry veterans with 80 years of combined commercial real estate experience. Commercial real estate services include brokerage, appraisal, property management, consulting, site selection, highest-and-best use analysis and more.

Martens Appraisal has been providing commercial real estate services since 1948. Under the leadership of four MAI’s (Designated Members of the Appraisal Institute), our appraisal team comprises over 100 years of combined experience.
We offer expertise in a wide variety of property types including: hotels, medical facilities, office, retail, mini-storage facilities, industrial facilities, multi-family or residential development as well as commercial properties that might be considered somewhat uncommon.
Martens Appraisal is based in Wichita, Kansas with an office in Overland Park, Kansas. We serve clients throughout the Midwest with particular emphasis in the Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma markets.

With over 60 years of combined experience, our team of Steven Martens, Andrew Braun and Nimfa Niquette know the property management industry. Our team understands the importance of quickly reducing operating costs, preparing rent-ready units, marketing the property and bringing in tenants. They have outstanding reputations with the individuals in the industry, from apartment managers on the “front lines” to owners and financial institutions funding the properties. In short, Steve, Andrew and Nimfa know how to take a property from the red to the black.

Our hospitality team provides day-to-day and asset management to nationally branded hotel and motel properties. Currently we manage three properties in the  midwest region, all of which were built by our Hospitality Development division. Our goal is to outperform industry averages for RevPAR, hotel occupancy and ROI. We focus on the personal growth of our employees and maintaining the highest standards for our guests’ satisfaction. Our team strives to achieve superior operating performance that maximizes property values.

Hospitality Development of America develops hotel across the Midwest and Southwest regions of the country. Founded by commercial Realtor and hotelier Steven Martens, Hospitality Development has keyed on locations supported by universities and medical centers. The company offers competitive development fees and has access to investors and lenders. Hospitality Development is able to utilize cost segregation analysis to lead to double digit returns for investors. While the company has primarily focused on new construction, it is currently pursuing renovation and re-purposing opportunities in major urban areas.
